    General FAQ

    How do you print your t-shirts?

    Most of our t-shirts are screen printed. Screen printing is a very time consuming process that requires many steps including separating colored, layers, burning screens, and hand mixing colors to ensure that each design matches its digital counterpart.

    On rare occasions, some designs are printed using our full color, state of the art Direct to Garment printers. These printers allow high quality prints that use the full color spectrum with no limitations.

    How much do your shirts cost?

    Our t-shirt subscriptions start at $7.99.

    How can I cancel my Subscription?

    Anytime! We do not charge sign up fees or cancellation fees for cancelling your subscription. However, once you have been charged, we cannot give a refund for any of our subscriptions. 

    If you're no longer interested in receiving our subscription, please cancel it as soon as possible so that there are no further charges. You can cancel it by clicking on "My Account" and "Manage Subscriptions".

    Who are the designers behind Month of the Shirt?

    Independent Artists from all over the world design the shirts for our Monthly Subscriptions.

    Our Random Grab Bag shirts come from our partner, Once Upon a Tee.

    Product FAQ

    What kind of garments do you print on?

    Standard shirts for men, women, and children are printed on pre-shrunk 100% cotton Gildan 5000 t-shirts. Available in sizes XS to 6XL, standard shirts are comfortable cotton with tapered neck and shoulders with removable tag for comfort.

    Premium shirts are made by Next Level. Available in sizes S to 3XL, premium shirts are both comfortable and light weight. Material is 4-3-ounce, 100% combed ring spun cotton. Set in 1x1 baby rib collar with removable tag.


    Tank tops are made by Bella Canvas and feel like a little slice of heaven. You know, if you could wear heaven and puffy clouds and stuff. Most tank tops are 100% cotton, but some colors do have polyester and/or raylon to provide extra cloudlike comfort.

    Hoodies are Port & Company, which are 80% cotton and 20% polyester. Available in sizes S to 4XL, the material is 8.5-ounce with a removable tag for comfort.

    What size shirt should I get?

    We always recommend digging out one of your favorite shirts, measure it and compare it to the sizing listed on our size chart: click here.

    Men's shirts are available from S to 6XL (including a tall option up to 4XLT). We also offer Women's t-shirts (which actually fit like women's t-shirts and not shirts for ants) with sizing available from S to 4XL.

    Premium options are a fitted style for both Men and Women.

    How should I wash my shirt?

    For best results, we recommend turning your shirt inside out before washing with a cool wash. We also recommend that you air or hang dry garments. In most scenarios, you may also tumble dry on low.

    Dryers may cause your shirt to shrink and it may also damage the print.

    If you plan on ironing your shirt, we recommend that you iron it inside out, so that you are not ironing directly on the design.

    Do your shirts shrink?

    Our shirts are pre-shrunk and most shirts are 100% cotton (some options do have polyester). However, all 100% cotton items will shrink over their lifetime to some extent.

    To reduce the chances of your shirt shrinking, we recommend air or hang drying your apparel.                                 

    Who designs shirts for Month of the Shirt?

    Anyone and everyone.

    That's part of what makes what we do so incredible. We feature work from artists all over the world. Exposure is everything for artists and because we operate the way that we do, we're able to give them a world wide audience.

    Can I change the size of my shirt?

    For Existing Orders:

    If you've made a payment and your shirt hasn't shipped yet, please 20support@monthoftheshirt.com" title="I need to change my shirt size." style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">contact us and we will do our best to make the change for you. You are not able to change the size from your end.

    If this month's subscription has ended and/or your shirt has shipped, we are unable to change the size. We only print the exact number/sizes of shirts that we have subscriptions for each month. 


    For Future Orders:

    If you'd like to change it for future subscriptions, you can always change the size by logging into your account, clicking "Manage Subscriptions" and making the adjustment there.

    Shipping FAQ

    What if I put the wrong shipping address?

    Unfortunately, if we're not notified before the order is shipped, there is very little that we can do. 

    Please verify your shipping address before you submit your order. If there is a problem with your shipping address, please contact us using the form below before your order has been shipped and we will do our best to make the changes.

    If an order needs to be re-shipped, the buyer is responsible for additional costs.

    When will my Subscription ship?

    Random Grab Bags ship within 1 to 3 business days. Fandom subscriptions have a set date based on when it ends each month. You can see our Estimated Shipping Schedule by Clicking Here.

    Do you ship to my country?

    Yes! Currently, we're shipping world-wide and if you have an address that accepts mail from your local post, then you can order and subsequently wear our awesome shirts.

    If you have a problem checking out with your country, please contact us using the form below and we'll do our best to take care of you.

    Do I have to pay Custom's Fees?

    Although custom's fees are rare, they can still happen on occasion and are most common on orders with multiple items or a value of  $25 or more. Unfortunately, we have no control over these fees as they are charged by your local post office.

    By law, we are responsible for reporting the value of the contents in all of our International orders.

    So unfortunately, yes. If there are customs charges, the buyer is responsible for all fees incurred.

    How long will it take to receive my order?

    Domestic

    Once you receive your tracking number, you should expect your order to arrive within 3 to 8 business days if you chose standard shipping and 1 to 3 business days if you chose priority shipping. 

    International

    Once you receive a shipping confirmation, orders take 5 to 8 business days to arrive in your country. From there, unfortunately the time frame is up to your local custom's agency and postal service.

    We have seen orders delivered in two weeks, but we have also seen them take as long as three months.

    If you have not received your package within a month, we recommend contacting your local Post Office and Custom's Agency. For all other questions, please feel free to contact us using the form below.

    How much does shipping cost?

    US & Canada shipping starts at $3.99. 

    International shipping starts at $5.99.

    Tracking number says delivered, but I do not have my order.

    There are quite a few reasons that your order has been marked as delivered and you have not received it yet. In general, most items are delivered before they are scanned as delivered. However, we have seen quite a few occasions where an order was marked as delivered, but did not show up for a few more days, so please be patient.

    In the meantime, it cannot hurt to check with your friends, family or roommates to see if they might have picked the package up. Keep in mind, our orders are sent out in white poly-mailers that can be relatively small. We have heard many occasions where a spouse or family member has picked up the package and forgot to give it to the intended customers.

    We do recommend that you contact your local USPS branch and check in with your neighbors. Sometimes, there are mix ups and they are delivered to the wrong address. If you give your local post office your tracking number, they generally have more information and should be able to help you more.

    Unfortunately, there is only so much that we can do from our end, so if you have done everything above and still need help, please contact us using the form below.

    We will still do everything that we can to assist you in finding your package. You will need to contact us within 30 days of the supposed delivery date in order to receive a replacement or a refund.

    If you do not contact us within that time, we are not liable.

    Why is my package being returned to Arizona?

    If your tracking number suggests that the package is being returned to Arizona, it's because it is heading back to our facility. We're very sorry about this, but in general, a package is only returned if the shipping address that was put in with the order is incorrect or could not be verified by the USPS.

    We do process all returns within 48-hours of receiving them and we will contact you for more information if we receive a returned package.

    If you think that your package was returned to us and we haven't contacted you, please contact us using the form below and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

    How can I track my order?

    Once your order is successfully processed, you will receive a shipping notification o the e-mail that is designated in your order. You are able to use the tracking number to track your order.

    If you receive a shipping confirmation, but did not receive a tracking number, please feel free to contact us using the form below and we will take care of it as soon as possible.

    Payments and Discounts

    What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept all major credit cards (Visa/Mastercard/Discover/American Express).

    Do you offer Store Credit or Gift Cards?

    Unfortunately, not. We do not offer Store Credit or Gift Cards, but you may purchase subscriptions for other people.

    Why is my Credit Card being declined?

    The most common reason that a credit/debit card may be declined is that some of the information was entered incorrectly. Please confirm that all information is an exact match for your credit card including the billing address that your bank has on record, as well as the three digit security code on the back of your card.

    For your security, we do not store or keep any identifiable information regarding your credit/debit card. Unfortunately, this also means that we cannot always pinpoint why your order is being declined. 

    We recommend starting with your bank, but are always happy to help.

    Can I use more than one discount code per transaction?

    Unfortunately, the answer is no. You can only use a single discount code per transaction. However, you're more than welcome to use other unique discounts in future orders.

    When will I be charged for my order?

    Your account will be charged as soon as you submit your order.

    Our products are all made to order, so we require payment up front.

    What is your Coupon Policy?

    Coupons can only be applied to an order during the time that a coupon code is valid. Unfortunately, we cannot apply discounts to older orders if the discount was not valid at the time. Future sales can never be applied to past orders.

    If your coupon code is not working, please make sure that you are logged into your account. Some discount codes do require customers to log into their account before the site will allow you to apply the discount to your order.

    There is a limit of one coupon code per order.

    Return Policy

    What is your return policy?

    Items are only eligible for a refund if they fall into one of the following:

    • Item is damaged in transit.
    • Incorrect item is delivered.
    • Item is defective and/or misprinted.

    If you receive an item that you believe falls into one of the above categories, please submit a ticket within 14-days of receiving your order. Please include photos of the item, as well as your preference of a refund or a replacement.

    They also cannot be tampered with or damaged via cat, dog, turtle, goat, giraffe, or any other animal or order. Trust us, we know.

    If you request a refund, please keep in mind that the refund will only be for the cost of the merchandise, as shipping costs are non-refundable. 

    Please note, return shipping costs are at the responsibility of the buyer.

    Help! There's a problem with my order.

    Oh, no! We're very sorry to hear that there was a problem with your order. We do our very best to check, re-check and triple check each order before it goes out.

    If you have an issue with your order, please feel free to contact us by using the form below detailing the issue along with your order number and we will take care of you right away.

    Can I exchange my shirt for a different size?

    Unfortunately, we are unable to exchange shirts for a different size. We only print the exact number/sizes of shirts that we have subscriptions for each month. 

    If you've made a payment and your shirt hasn't shipped yet, please contact us and we will do our best to make the change for you. 

    If you'd like to change it for future subscriptions, you can always change the size by logging into your account, clicking "Manage Subscriptions" and making the adjustment there.

    Other FAQ

    Can I enter the $250 Prize Pack without making a Purchase?

    Of course! We recommend signing up for a subscription to get an Exclusive T-Shirt each month while also earning a chance every month, but you can also enter as an outside participant.
